Malö and its surroundings are well known, thanks in part to Evert Taube’s beautiful ballads, such as Maj på Malö, and to those who have sailed across the Malö Straits and perhaps experienced the strong currents of the Björnsund Channel, near the southeastern part of Flatön.

Welcome to Malö Camping!
Malö Camping is a picturesque haven situated next to the celebrated Malö strömmar, just outside the western part of Orust, Sweden.
Check-in is available between 2 PM and 8 PM, while check-out must be completed by 12 PM to allow for cleaning and inspections.

Right next to the celebrated Malö strömmar, Malö Camping has a picturesque location on the western side of Orust.
If you're arriving by sea, dock at one of our guest piers, “hop ashore, smooth and graceful…”
Malö, Flatön and Ängön are connected to Orust by the cable ferry Maj, which carries you across the Malö strömmar — like a live broadcast from Ekot (Swedish Radio).
